2010 NWA: New Beginnings Spring Series Postponed! CHARLOTTE, NC -- (March 29, 2010) -- The remaining dates in the NWA: New Beginnings! 2010 Spring Series have been postponed. Live matches scheduled for April 11 and May 9 in Charlotte have been cancelled. Refunds have been issued to all that have purchased tickets in advance. Thanks very much to each of you that supported our live events! The chase for the "NWA Future Legends Cup" will culminate at this August's NWA Wrestling Legends Fanfest Weekend in Charlotte. Everyone that competes here at NWA: New Beginnings! is eligible for the "NWA Future Legends Cup." Won-loss records will be tallied and the four young superstars with the best overall records will advance to a three-match finale Saturday night, August 7 here in Charlotte to crown a winner. But there's more! Not only will one of the extraordinary athletes win the "NWA Future Legends Cup," but the winner will also receive a shot at the coveted "ten pounds of gold," a championship match on Sunday afternoon, August 8 for the NWA World Heavyweight title! Wow! I hope you can be with us at fanfest in August to see the final matches and a winner crowned in the "NWA Future Legends Cup!"  Making history in the Queen City, "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce survived a tremendous three-way elimination, outlasting Blue Demon Jr. and "Universal Soldier" Phill Shatter to become National Wrestling Alliance World Heavyweight champion for a third time.
